How we sometimes feel

Night after night we gather here

Awaiting the call that we all do fear

One comes through and we simply just know

This one is going to take an hour or so

First they have not got it all switched on

Then they get confused and describe everything all wrong

Finally it starts and soon to our dismay

Computers and this caller, together – no way

The questions are asked, the ones we don’t wish to hear

What is the enter key? What should be shown here?

Again and again we seek to find

A simpler way, whilst being still kind

Sometimes you get such answers that are surreal

Such as please hold on whilst I finish cooking the meal

Now we wish them to look to see what’s by the (computer) clock

It’s in the kitchen, from here, see it I can not

Eventually with much frustration heading out way

A reset on the router ... to fix this we pray

But out of the woods we are nowhere near

Finding the reset button, so difficult I fear

Do I turn the power off? A question oft asked

If I needed that to happen, that would have been tasked

But the feeling of happiness that finally comes our way

When eventually resolved, it just makes our day
